Don started selling boats in 1969 and soon became the leading dealer for Islander Yachts. Don was instrumental in forming the Islander 36 one-design class on San Francisco Bay. As the number one dealer, he also sold hundreds of Islander 28's and 30 Mk II's.

Other lines that Don has sold include Hunter, Cabo Rico, Newport, Balboa, and Yamaha.

In addition to being very experienced in the sailboat industry, he has practical experience through cruising and racing the California coast many times. He has also sailed his own Islander to Hawaii.

Don is well versed in the intricacies of selling both new and pre-owned boats. It is hard to find anyone in the Bay Area with as much experience as Don Wilson - Nearly a 40 year track record!
