What is Passage Partner Sailing Club?

The Passage Partner Sailing Club is an ownership and club sailing model that is unique and provides all the upside of chartering a boat and owning a boat in charter without all the downsides. Owner-Members get tax savings, guaranteed monthly income and less wear
and tear. Sailing members get exclusive use of a new boat with guaranteed time slots and
a fixed monthly cost that is oftentimes the same as a single daily of charter for a comparable boat.

What are my benefits as an Owner– Member?

As an Owner-Member you receive income each month based on the number of members
exclusively contracted to your boat. There is a maximum number of members, and each
commits to one year with the opportunity to renew annually. The members are qualified on
your boat, and if training is necessary, they receive the training they need on board which
makes them even more proficient on your boat. There is a greater sense of ownership
among the members and increased skill over time, which results in your boat being left in
better condition with less wear and tear than in traditional charter boat programs. The tax
benefits include the boat loan interest write-off, deductions for all boat expenses and a great group of people you can get to know and even sail with if that interests you.

What are my benefits as an Exclusive Member?

As a Club Member, for a fixed monthly fee you contract to sail the same boat for a whole
year and have a regular schedule for sailing. The boats are all new and in top condition.
You receive your qualification check-out on the boat you'll be sailing. This means a higher
level of enjoyment and more time spent sailing rather than being checked out on different
boats all the time. If you desire or require additional sail training to increase your skill level,
the training is done on board the boat you will sail in a semi=private lesson format. Our
lessons are custom tailored to your skill goals. As a sailing member, The Passage Partner
Sailing Club gives you a unique opportunity to sail like an "owner". If you decide after
your sailing experience you want to buy, there are substantial savings our club members
realize on a boat purchase.

Is this more costly than a traditional charter program?

No. The requirement to sail a fleet in a typical charter program has you running through a
long list of expensive classes. No matter what your skill level, you have to go through the
"mill". With our program, your training is tailored to your skill needs. You'll find that sailing is more fun, meaningful and less costly over time. For a fixed monthly fee you get a substantial number of sailing days per month.
